ART DIARIES Presents: "RETREAT"
This is the THIRD, 2010 installation of Art Diaries; a quarterly - themed exhibition which allows the artists complete creative control in thier interpretation of the theme. Although the artists must work within the miniature 4"x4" size the concept and choice of medium are without Bounds. These mini-Master pieces are perfect to add to your collection and are great for gift giving. Price range will always be within $150 - $250.

4Art Welcomes A new collective member, Portrait & fantasy artist GEORGE LINDMARK. "Welcome to my series of portraits exploring the cultural variety of modern women from the Chicago metro area. My goal is to present to the viewer a glimpse into the personality of each subject and reveal the strength of character and individualism that redefines
contemporary ideas of feminine beauty."

De La Salle University Chorale
Performance

The De La Salle University Chorale will be performing on the 1st Floor of the ZBC @ 9pm. Under the tutelage of renowned musical director, composer and arranger Professor Rodolfo Delarmente. The group, established in 1987 as the official choir of De La Salle University, has carved a niche in their homeland as well as in the international scene. Performing in various gatherings and concerts, as well as winning accolades and top prizes in prestigious international choral festivals and competitions. As “Ambassadors of Goodwill”, The DeLa Salle University Chorale has embarked on highly successful concert tours of several countries in Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia. This year the Chorale will once again under take a concert tour bringing goodwill through their music to the United States, Europe & Zhou B Art Center.

"BOUND" Miniature Art Exhibition

This provocative new series is based on a visual interpretation of a diary. The miniature 4"x4" size is meant to interpret the secrets diaries hold. Artists are given a theme of which they are free to create based on their own emotion, experience, etc., using any medium they choose.

Italian artist Brigitta Rossetti presents new works produced during her visit to the Zhou B Art Center. As a student of the Zhou Brothers in the Academy of Salisburg, Brigitta has spent the last few months working in Chicago. Her work is evocative and poetic, full of life and energy. Brigitta's paintings evolve in a seemingly paradox of dream and reality. From the small works to the large scale paintings displayed at her studio, Brigitta invites the viewer to her intimate world.

Visit Brigitta's studio this Friday, April 19th before she returns to Milan, Italy.
